Founders’ Round Terms

1. Agreement and organizer

These Founders’ Round Terms (“Terms”) govern participation in the Valuation Hallucination pre-launch program (“Founders’ Round”), operated by the Valuation Hallucination team (“we,” “us,” or “Organizer”). By joining, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Notice. The Founders’ Round is a promotional loyalty and community program, not an investment, contest, lottery, sweepstakes, or offer of securities.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to join. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. A Kickstarter account and backing eligibility are governed separately by Kickstarter’s terms, which generally require account holders to be at least 18.

3. Joining and Founder status

A valid, unique email address earns one Founder ID, a randomly assigned founder archetype, a virtual starting valuation, and one vote in the designated community card vote. Founder IDs, valuations, rankings, archetypes, votes and referral milestones are promotional features with no monetary value. They are not ownership, equity, currency, credit, property, or a promise of financial return.

4. Qualified referrals

A qualified referral is a new participant who joins through your unique referral link using a valid, unique email address and accepts these Terms. Each qualified referral adds $50M to your virtual valuation. One qualified referral unlocks the first referral milestone; three total qualified referrals make your ballot in the community card vote count twice; five total qualified referrals unlock an invitation to place an approved display name on the digital Founders’ Cap Table.

Self-referrals, disposable or fabricated accounts, automated signups, purchased referrals, impersonation, misleading promotion and other manipulation do not qualify. When sharing a referral link publicly, clearly disclose that you can receive in-game promotional benefits. We may investigate, remove or correct referrals and rankings reasonably believed to be invalid.

5. Community card vote

Eligible members will receive an invitation to vote among card names, artwork concepts or Market Event options selected by the Valuation Hallucination team. The winning option will be incorporated into the finished game. If the winning option cannot reasonably be used because of safety, intellectual-property, platform, manufacturing or legal constraints, we will use the next eligible option or conduct a replacement vote. Votes are personal, non-transferable and must be submitted before the announced deadline.

Unless we publish separate submission terms, the vote will use choices supplied by us and does not invite members to submit original artwork, names or game concepts.

6. Digital Founders’ Cap Table

Members with five qualified referrals will be invited by email to opt in and choose a display name. Display names must not impersonate another person, violate rights, contain confidential information, advertise unrelated products, or include hateful, threatening, unlawful or obscene material. We may reject, edit or remove a display name for these reasons. Participation is optional; we will not publish your email address.

7. Founder Edition bonus

Joining reserves eligibility for a Founder Edition bonus. To claim it, you must back the official Valuation Hallucination Kickstarter campaign within 48 hours after the campaign’s publicly announced launch time, maintain an eligible pledge through successful payment collection, and complete any reasonable identification or fulfillment steps by the stated deadline. We may use email matching, a claim code or a backer survey to verify eligibility.

The exact cosmetic bonus and fulfillment details will be announced before the campaign launches. It will not remove essential gameplay from the standard game. If a disclosed component becomes impracticable to manufacture or fulfill, we may provide a substantially comparable or better substitute and will explain the change. Shipping, taxes and Kickstarter reward fulfillment remain subject to the campaign disclosures and Kickstarter’s terms.

8. Kickstarter is separate

Kickstarter is a third-party platform and does not sponsor or administer the Founders’ Round. Joining does not create a Kickstarter pledge, guarantee campaign launch or success, reserve inventory, or charge you. If you later back the project, your pledge and reward relationship will also be governed by the live campaign disclosures and Kickstarter’s terms.

9. Email choices and deletion

We use your email to administer Founder status, send voting invitations and announce the Kickstarter launch. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing stops promotional email but does not automatically delete the minimal record used to preserve your Founder ID and referral status. You may request deletion; deletion ends participation and may permanently remove associated milestones.

10. Program changes

We may make reasonable changes needed to prevent abuse, comply with law, address platform requirements or reflect manufacturing constraints. We will not intentionally remove an earned milestone without a valid reason. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated to enrolled members. If the game or campaign is cancelled, unfulfilled promotional milestones will end and no cash substitute will be owed.

11. Website and intellectual property

Valuation Hallucination names, artwork, card designs, copy, logos and site materials belong to the Organizer or its licensors. You may use your referral link and personal Founder result for non-commercial sharing. You may not scrape the program, interfere with its operation, misrepresent affiliation, copy protected assets for commercial use, or attempt to obtain unauthorized access.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The pre-launch site and promotional features are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every display, ranking or external service will always be error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of the free pre-launch program.
